Myths and Misconceptions of vitamins:
• Vitamins are not Medicines or life savers
• Vitamins are alternative to food supplements/dietary supplements. However vitamins are very essential for body to keep active and healthy.
• Allah asked us to eat Halal and Tayyab foods as HE provided. Many Hadeeses clearly mentioned that one should not eat any food if it’s doubtful. Ulmas say that this hadees is also applicable to all food supplements / dietary supplements, i.e. vitamins / or sources of vitamins.
